A little-known but deeply significant fact from our past is the existence of the old Serbian calendar,
which begins exactly 7532 years ago. According to this calendar, the year 2025 in the Gregorian calendar
corresponds to the year 7532 since the "Creation of the World.

Lunisolar System and Cycles of Nature
The old calendar was lunisolar, tracking both the movement of the Sun and the cycles of the Moon.
The year consisted of:
• 13 months of 28 days = 364 days

Vinca Culture (5700–4500 B.C.
Artifacts from Vinca, such as ceramic figurines and symbols, represent astronomical records and calendrical cycles.

Vinca script is fascinating and mysterious, but it has not yet been fully deciphered.
Regarding its age and confirmed existence, the latest research and artifact analysis indicate that the script was
used during the Vinca culture period (around 5700–4500 B.C.), making it one of the oldest known scripts in the world.

Smederevo Fortress

During its construction, the year 6938 (1430) was inscribed in brick, marking the time of its creation.
