Which tool dimensions should be used for engraving.

Letters can be obtained with different thicknesses of tools-knives from Thin to Bold. Roughly, it is from 1/24 to 1/10 of the capital letter.

This is a basic orientation on the surface of the material, for example on anodized aluminum or painted plastic. If the conical knife is used to engrave deeper to 0.3 mm for painting, the thickness of the knife should be reduced depending on the cone of the knife.
