Orach Technic Pro Italic

Orach Technic Pro - Italic

Italics are most often used when you need to make a difference in the text. It is often used for headings when there are several lines etc. In practice, it is rarely used in engraving.

The first question that arises with italics is how many degrees the font is tilted to the right.
Generaly Italic have slant 6-12 degrees.

The best appearance of italics in the Orach Technic Pro font family is 9 degrees.

Some engraving programs have the ability to set this slope arbitrarily. In programs that support the Microsoft Italic system, such as AutoCAD, that slope is a great 19 degrees.

In our Orach Engraving Software, where we can adjust this slope arbitrarily, we work
with 9 degrees.

Graphics programs such as CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator can also do this arbitrarily.
